December 21st - Daniel 12:3
God's people shine like the stars
Daniel prophesied that those who follow God and lead others toward Him will “shine like the brightness of the heavens”and like the stars forever. Throughout this week, we’ve been looking at how the heavens declare God’s glory—the stars, creation, and even the star that led the wise men. But today, God turns our attention to something surprising: we are meant to shine too.
Because of Jesus, the Light of the World, God’s people reflect His light in the world. We shine when we love others, when we live with hope, and when we point people to Jesus. As Christmas draws near, we remember that the One who created the stars also empowers us to shine with His love.
Question:
How can your life reflect Jesus’ light to someone today?
Kid Question:
When do you shine the brightest for Jesus? What helps you do that?
Activity/Action:
Cut out paper stars for everyone in your family. Discuss how you can shine bright for Jesus with your friends and family.
