From the very beginning of sin entering the world, God made a promise: He would send One who would defeat the enemy (Gen. 3:15). This first prophecy of Jesus reminds us that Christmas didn’t start in a manger—it started in the garden. The birth of Christ is part of the rescue plan God has always had in motion.
